Web3 Fullstack Developer (Growth Opportunity)

Metrix Finance is a cutting-edge decentralized finance platform focused on providing users with powerful tools for on-chain analytics and portfolio management. We're seeking a Web3 Developer to enhance our platform and contribute to our growth.

Responsibilities

  • Address and resolve existing bugs within our platform.
  • Implement UI/UX improvements to enhance user experience.
  • Learn and implement new technologies, including subgraphs and substreams.
  • Contribute to the development of new features and functionalities.
    • Integrate new protocols for simulations and tracking
    • Develop creative solutions for data retrieval and indexing (smart contract interactions, APIs, subgraphs, …)
    • Collaborate with other developers and managers
    • Conduct code reviews and improve the current architecture
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security practices and blockchain innovations
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to platform improvements.
  • Provide daily updates on your progress and completed tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Demonstrated experience in Web3 development and familiarity with DeFi concepts.
    • Proven track record of working on multiple SaaS products.
    • Intermediate-level developer with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript).
    • Familiarity with Web3 libraries and tools (e.g., Ethers.js, Web3.js, Viem).
    • Understanding of front-end and back-end development (Next.js, TailwindCSS).
    • Experience with databases and data frameworks (PostgreSQL, Prisma).
    • Familiarity with Web3 data retrieval (API, subgraphs, RPC calls).
  • Nice to Have:
    • Smart contract dev (EVM and Solana) experience
    • Substreams-powered subgraphs
    • Wagmi hooks

Compensation & Growth

  • Initial Phase (Part-Time):
    • Compensation to be discussed.
    • 20 hours per week, flexible schedule within standard weekday business hours. We are looking for roughly 4 hours of work per day, Monday through Friday.
  • Full-Time Transition:
    • Compensation to be discussed.
    • Upon demonstrating consistent performance and alignment with our goals, you will transition to a full-time position.
    • Full time will be considered 40 hours per week.
